Lois Mae (Nauman) LaBarre, 84, entered her eternal rest on January 3, 2025. Lois was a lifelong resident of Monroe County, PA. She was born on August 1, 1940, at home in Mt. Pocono, PA. Lois was the wife of Darrell LaBarre, Sr, at home. She was predeceased in death by her parents Grant and Virginia Nauman, an infant sister, Peggy Nauman, and her brothers Carl and Kenneth Nauman. Lois is survived by her daughter Darlene (LaBarre) Fox and husband Daniel, Darrell LaBarre, Jr., and Duane LaBarre and wife Dora; seven grandchildren, Candace (LaBarre) Paige and husband Darnel, Luke Fox, Monica Fox and her husband Matthew Winkler, Drew LaBarre and wife Brittany, Marissa LaBarre, Marinda LaBarre, and Sage LaBarre; ten great grandchildren, Jasmine Paige, Alyvia Paige, Mia Paige, Rocco Ranzie LaBarre, Roman Ranzie LaBarre, Ryland LaBarre, Jaxon LaBarre, Dylan LaBarre, Isaace LaBarre, and Ruby Winkler. As a young woman Lois worked at Memorytown and the former Buck Hill Inn. She also worked at Blairstown Plumbing and Heating where she met her husband, Darrell LaBarre. Lois was a homemaker for many years and also worked as a caregiver for a neighbor for many years. Lois worked at the former Oppenheimer Department Store in Mount Pocono, PA. Later in life she found her passion working as a Home Interiors party demonstrator providing many in-home parties. Lois was a greeter at her church - Innovation Church in Paradise Valley, PA. Many members of the congregation looked forward to their Sunday morning greeting and hug from Lois. This is a cherished memory by many. Lois was a kind, gentle, godly woman who will be missed by many. There will be a memorial service on Saturday January 11, 2025, at 11:00am with a visitation from 10:00am until the time of the service at the Bensing Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg.
