Lloyd Earl Bentzoni

Lloyd E. Bentzoni, 79, of Stroudsburg passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Pocono Medical Center.  Born in East Stroudsburg on July 6, 1937 he was the son of the late Lloyd and Shirley (Baird) Bentzoni. He was the husband of Linda (Kresge) Bentzoni who he was married to for 56 years. Lloyd worked for the Stroudsburg Police Department and the Pennsylvania State Police, retiring in 1990. He was also part owner of Linda’s Ceramics on Broad Street. He proudly served his country as a Marine.   Survivors: Lloyd is survived by his wife; Son, Randy Bentzoni; Daughters, Deborah McBroom and Lori Bentzoni; Grandchildren, Tyler Bentzoni, Robert Kramer, Kaitlyn McBroom, Lucie and Victoria Rike; Brothers, Thomas Bentzoni and Richard Bentzoni; In-laws, Lowell Kresge, Joyce Morris and Katrina Moore. He was predeceased by Brothers, Darryl “Pudge” Bentzoni and Michael Bentzoni; Sister, Katheryn Reish. Services: Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 N. 5th Street Stroudsburg PA 18360. Viewing will be from 9:00 to 11:00AM in the Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Mount Laurel Mausoleum at the Laurelwood Cemetery, Stroudsburg.
