Lisa Lynne Miller

Lisa Lynne Miller, age 59, passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 7, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Pocono in East Stroudsburg.

She was born July 7, 1964, in East Stroudsburg, to Ronald and Carol Ann (Dailey) Miller.

She was a 1982 graduate of Pocono Mountain Senior High School.

She worked as the manager of Gas n' Goods for fourteen years and Vogel Plant Stand both in Sciota. Lisa found her jobs rewarding, she loved working with plants, and she cherished the friendships/relationships she made with the customers. Throughout the years, Lisa dedicated time to animal rescue and fostering. She loved caring for them until their forever homes were found. But her family was the most important part of her life. She loved spending time with her children and her grandchildren made her world go round.

She is survived by her son Kyle Miller and his fiancé Barbara Piacenza of Florida, her son Nicholas Miller of Stroudsburg, her sister Kelly Culbert of Sciota, her sister Megan Miller and brother-in-law Don Stephens of Georgia, her brother Joshua Miller and his fiance Kimberly DeFreese of Reeders, her father Ron Miller of Henryville, as well as four grandchildren, many cousins, nephews, nieces, Aunts and Uncles.

Lisa was preceded in death by her mother Carol Ann (2017), her son Zachary (2020), several aunts, Uncles, and her grandparents.

There will be a viewing on Tuesday May 14, 2024, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Bensing Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the memorial fund to help pay the final expenses. After the goal is met, the remaining donations will be given to Ozzi's Angels of Pocono Summit.
