Lidarae Salsman Davenport

Lidarae Salsman Davenport, 71, of Stroudsburg, passed away at the Jewel Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She is the wife of Mark Edward Davenport, they were married November 1977
Born July 20, 1952, in Meshoppen, Wyoming County, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Burton and Helen (Jackson) Salsman
She graduated from Wyalusing Valley High School, Ellen Cushing Junior College and East Stroudsburg University.
She worked for Shawnee Development in childcare for 20 years. Later she worked for PATH before retiring.
She was a member of the Church of Saint Luke, Stroudsburg
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son Steven Davenport of Bethlehem, a brother Zane Salesman and his wife Patty, of Laceyville, PA, a brother-in-law Robert Davenport Jr., of Loganville, GA., and several nieces and nephews.
She had a love of baking for other people, and a love of animals, especially her cats.
Catholic prayer services will be held on Thursday June 13, 2024, at 1:30pm with Father Michael F. Quinnan officiating; at the Bensing Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg.
Interment will follow in the Laurelwood Cemetery, Stroudsburg.
