Laurence "Phil" Auerbach

Laurence “Phil” Auerbach, 69, of Saylorsburg, passed away on Wednesday September 28, 2016 at the Saint Luke’s Hospital Anderson Campus. He was the husband of Laura C. (Millward) Auerbach, they were married January 21, 1982. Born July 10, 1947 in Easton, PA the son of the late Otto Edwin and Marie (Genay) Auerbach, he was a resident of Monroe County since 1985, and prior to that of Easton. He was a valued employee of Lafayette College in Easton working as a Biology Technician for over 39 years. Phil was an avid golfer. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sister Marie Graff-Wolfe and her husband Donald Wolfe of Las Vegas, NV; his brothers, Edwin Joseph Auerbach and his wife Pat of Nazareth and Robert Arthur Auerbach and his wife Doris of Wilson Boro; and many nieces and a nephew. Memorial funeral services will be held on Monday October 3, 2016 at 1:30pm at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg. There will be a visitation on Monday from 12:30pm until the time of the services In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2158 West Main Street, Stroudsburg PA 18360
