Larry R. Sebring, a dedicated public servant and respected publisher, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2026, in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.

Born on July 6, 1950, he graduated from East Stroudsburg High School in 1968 and East Stroudsburg University in 1972. Mr. Sebring's life was marked by a steadfast commitment to his community and a passion for sharing the stories of the Pocono region.

Mr. Sebring served honorably as a deputy with the Monroe County Sheriffs' Department for many years.

After his tenure as deputy sheriff, he created Monroe Realty Services where he worked as a realtor and broker. He later entered politics and served as Stroud Township Supervisor. He eventually channeled his deep knowledge and love of the area into publishing Pocono Living and Pocono Family Magazines, publications that became a cherished source of information and connection for the community.

Larry is survived by his son, Dr. Ryan Sebring of State College; his daughter, Kristen Sebring; and a granddaughter, Avery Sebring Landro of Stroudsburg Pa. He is also survived by his sister, Linda Spalluto, and her husband, Daniel Spalluto.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Sebring and his mother, Mildred (Bush) Sebring.

Funeral services will be held at a later and will be announced by the Bensing Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street Stroudsburg
