Kimberly [Mazur] Cook 48, of East Stroudsburg passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, November 21, 2017 after having some health issues. She was the loving wife of Richard Cook for the last 24 years. Born December 10, 1968 in East Stroudsburg, the daughter of Wayne and Linda (Snyder) Mazur of Tannersville. Kimberly graduated from Pocono Mountain High School and North Hampton Community College. She enjoyed family vacations in the Outter Banks and Myrtle Beach with her family, she also enjoyed reading and spending time with her nieces, Addison Mazur of Tannersville, and Emma Gerstner of Nazareth. In addition to her husband and parents Kimberly is survived by a sister, Krista [Mazur] Gerstner and her husband Jason, of Nazareth; a brother Wayne P. Mazur Jr. of Reeders, and his companion Stephanie Gupko; a sister in-law, Tiffany Mazur of Tannersville, her fur baby, Zoey, who she adored, her beloved Godparents Peter and Carol Fasino of Oxford, CT as well her Aunt Ruth Brennan of Marshall creek & Aunt Brenda Warriner of Wooddale, as well as many , uncles, cousins and numerous friends. She is also survived by her, mother-in-law, Flossie Cook, of North Carolina, and step-son, Richard Cook Jr of Bangor. A memorial service will be held at Bensing-Thomas funeral home, Stroudsburg, Pa. on Saturday Dec. 2,2017 from 1 pm to 3 pm, to honor Kimberly's life, In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Camp Papillon pet adoption and rescue, www.cppac.org
