Kathryn C. D'Alessandro

Kathryn C. D’Alessandro Ph.D., 60, of Bartonsville passed away at St Luke’s Hospital, Bartonsville Born December 1, 1957 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Louis and Stella (Depew) D’Alessandro. She was a resident of Monroe County since 1995 and prior to that of Jersey City, New Jersey and Madison Wisconsin. Kathryn is a Unitarian Universalist. Kathryn loved to teach and holds a Ph.D. in Communication Arts and currently was a Professor at New Jersey City University in Jersey City, New Jersey; prior to that she taught at the Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois and prior to that was a teaching assistant an the University of Wisconsin in Madison Wisconsin, and the Pennsylvania State University.. Kathryn loves film and watches Television Obsessively, especially Dr Who and Classical Hollywood. She is survived by many cousins, and many dear friends. Memorial funeral services will be held on Thursday May 24, 2018 at 1:30pm at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg with Rev Kim Wilson officiating. Burial of her cremated remains will be in the Moscow Cemetery, Moscow, Pennsylvania.
