Julian Robert Viechnicki

Julian R. Viechnicki, 72, of Bartonsville, passed away on Christmas Day, December 25, 2020. He was the loving husband of Kay Miller Lambert Viechnicki, with whom he celebrated 19 years of marriage this past August. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Daniel A. Viechnicki and wife Allison, of Lancaster; Daughter, Stephanie Bunnell and husband Craig, of East Stroudsburg; Daughter, Wendy Miller, and her companion Rick Colwell, of Otego NY; Six Grandchildren, Owen Viechnicki, Hayden Viechnicki, Kaylynn Bunnell, Kalli Jan Bunnell, Leisha Kaye Miller, and Connor Miller; Great-Grandchildren Landon Bunnell, Gianna Conforte, and Makenzi Miller; Brothers, Dr. M. Bruce Viechnicki and wife Georgia, of Allentown; John Viechnicki, of Stroudsburg; Dr. William Viechnicki and wife Suzanne of Bluffton, SC; and Dr. Joseph Viechnicki and wife Dr. Marg Viechnicki, of Bethlehem; also nine nieces and nephews. Born July 6, 1948 in East Stroudsburg, he was the son of the late Zigmont and Sally (Leidinger) Viechnicki. He was a graduate of East Stroudsburg High School and attended Northwood University in Michigan. For several years, Julian was part of and then co-owned and operated East Stroudsburg Beverage. Over the years, Julian enjoyed taking trips to the Jersey shore and Myrtle Beach with his family and friends. He also was big sports fan and loved playing golf. He was a tremendous friend to many and his humor will be missed by all. Services and a memorial will be held at a later date.
