John Sargent

Picture John Sargent, 60, of Stroudsburg, passed away peacefully on Friday January 20, 2017 at the Lehigh Valley Health System Hospice House- Pocono. Born May 29, 1956 in East Stroudsburg, the son of the late Eileen Rarick. He loved fishing and wrestling; and he was an excellent painter. John is survived by his sister Beverly Rarick and brother Bruce Rarick ; and his foster sister Helen Hill all of Stroudsburg; and his 2 nephews in Florida and many cousins, family and friends. Memorial services will be held on Saturday February 11, at 12:00noon at the Stroudsburg Wesleyan Church, 915 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg; followed by a luncheon in the church’s Fellowship Hall, a covered dish or desert would be appreciated. The Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg is in charge of the arrangements.
