John Edward Klein, 62, of Reeders, passed away on Sunday February 28, 2016 at the Pocono Medical Center. He was the husband of Deborah S. (Brush) Klein, they were married 5/23/81. Born June 5, 1953 in Newark, New Jersey, the son of the late Hans Bernard and Rita (Dethloff) Klein. He was a resident of Monroe County for the past 30 years, and prior to that of Parsippany, New Jersey. Prior to his retirement, he worked in maintenance at the Monroe County Courthouse for the past several years. Prior to that he was a very talented welder specializing in Titanium, he was the #1 Titanium Welder in the United States and was sought after to weld Titanium for many specialized projects; one of which was welding DSV Alvin which is a manned deep ocean submersible vehicle, that helped photographically document the wreckage of the Titanic. In addition to his wife, he is survived by is daughter Heather L. Marvin of East Stroudsburg, his son Sean G. Klein of Reeders, his 2 sisters, Margie Farrell and her husband Robert of Florham Park, New Jersey and Kathy Black and her husband Kim of Denville, New Jersey, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. The Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
