John E. Williamson

John E. Williamson, 78, of Scotrun passed away on March 3, 2022, at home. Born on August 17, 1943, in Allentown, the son of the late Betty and Milliard Williamson. John is survived by his wife, Evangeline (Van) McElroy. He is survived by his four children: John Williamson, Jr. and wife Kathy of Arizona, Ron Williamson and his wife Sharon of South Carolina, Connie Bartos and husband Jim of Whitehall, PA, Tonda O'Donnell with partner, Bob Ricci of Easton, PA and by his sister Roseann Oliver of Catasauqua, PA and brother Ed Williamson and wife Michelle of Florida. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and their families, plus four great grandchildren. After he retired from Ertle's Volvo Subaru, he enjoyed taking trips on his motorcycle, spending time with his family and friends. He was an amazing man, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. Whenever you needed help, he was there and someone who you could always depend on. He had an amazing sense of humor and was happiest when he was around his family and friends.
