John Christopher Frisbie

John Christopher Frisbie, 61, of East Stroudsburg, passed away peacefully on Friday March 17, 2017, at his home.  He was the husband of Wanda Lee Lippincott Frisbie, they were married for 26 years.   Born April 11, 1955 in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, the son of John E. and Joan A. (Becker) Frisbie of Oxford, NJ. He was a resident of Monroe County for the past 25 years.   Years ago he worked as a supervisor at several businesses including Taylor Forge, BASF, and Country Miss.  In the summer he enjoyed fishing down at the Jersey shore, having a few beers and playing quoits with friends and family. Otherwise he enjoyed watching NASCAR races, doing his daily crossword puzzle and rooting for the New York Giants.  In addition to his wife and parents, John is survived by his 4 sons John Frisbie Jr., Jacob Frisbie, Christopher Frisbie, and Graham McGarvey. Brothers & sisters: Patricia Hodson, Tony Frisbie, JoanMarie Frisbie, Kathleen Keck, and Linda Hagan.  There will be a viewing and service held on Friday March 24, 2017 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home for family and friends, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg.  Cremation shall follow.
