Jody Ann Guida, 61, of East Stroudsburg, passed away on Friday January 8, 2021 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Pocono. She was the loving wife of Timothy Warner. Born March 4, 1959 in East Stroudsburg Pennsylvanian the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Weaver) Funk. She was a resident of Monroe County for most of her lifetime. Currently she was the manager at the Sunoco Gas Station in East Stroudsburg. Prior to that she was a bartender at both the Goal Line and Happy Hour. In addition to her husband, Jody is survived by her son, Peter A. Guida and his wife Crystal of East Stroudsburg, and her daughter Michelle Cunningham and her boyfriend Stephen Waldron of Snydersville; Jody loved being around her grandchildren and spending her free time with them and is survived by her 4 grandchildren Dylan and Jackson Guida, and Freya and Ford Waldron; her sister Dawn Funk of South Carolina. She was predeceased by her 2 brothers, Clay and Kevin Funk, and her sister Janice Funk. There will be a visitation on Thursday January 14, 2021 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family in care of the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg PA 18360.
