Joan T. Thomas

Joan Trach (Zugel) Thomas, 83, formerly of Selinsgrove, died Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at Grace Park Senior Living, Stroudsburg, Pa. She was born August 24, 1935 in Tannersville, PA a daughter of the late John and Ada (Trach) Zugel and was a 1953 graduate of Stroudsburg High School. She was married to the late Edward R. Thomas for 46 years. Joan enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by two sisters; Jennene Bertucci and Ada Zugel and one brother John Zugel and his wife Lois Zugel. Two daughters and sons-in-law, Gwen and Kerry Hunt of Bloomsburg and Julie and Glenn Salsman of Selinsgrove; one son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Wendy Thomas of Allentown; Six grandchildren, Andy and Nicholas Hunt, Courtney and Matt Salsman and Eric and Shannon Thomas and two great grandchildren. Three nieces and two nephews and her devoted friend Tom Tyrrel. There willl be a visitation on Saturday October 20, 2018 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg .
