Joan M. Milnamow, 89, of East Stroudsburg, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at Saint Luke's Hospital – Monroe Campus.
Born May 1, 1934, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Leo I. and Louise (Mitnach) Quinn. Joan was a resident of Monroe County since 1982, and prior to that of Port Washington, Long Island, New York.
Joan was of the Catholic Faith and is a member of Our Lady of Victory Church, Tannersville, PA. She was a member of the Monroe County Realtors Association.
Prior to her retirement, Joan was a real estate agent working mostly with the Coldwell Banker Real Estate office on North 9th Street, Stroudsburg PA.
Joan is survived by her 4 children Mark Milnamow and his wife Lois of Holden, Massachusetts, Michele M. Lombardi and her husband Joseph of Denville, New Jersey, Margaret “Marcie” Milnamow of East Stroudsburg and Matthew Milnamow and his wife Fran of East Stroudsburg.
Her 4 grandchildren Quinn Lombardi of Denville, NJ, Sarah Milnamow of Holden MA, Emily Milnamow of Holden MA, and Oona Lombardi of Denville, NJ.
She is also survived by her siblings, Richard Quinn and his wife Jeri of Clarks Summit PA, Joseph “Terry” Quinn of Media PA, Louise Quinn, OSF of Kimberton, PA , Lorraine Cox and her husband Robert of Havertown PA , and Michele Quinn, IHM of Philadelphia, PA. as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Joan was predeceased by her brother Leo Quinn, and her sisters Barbara Smith and Pauline Deeney.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 28th 2023 at 11am at Our Lady of Victory Church, 327 Cherry Lane Road, Tannersville with Father Michael Rzonca as celebrant.
There will be a viewing at the church on Monday, August 28th at 10am until the time of the mass.
Cremation will follow. Burial of her cremated remains will be private and at the convenience of the family in the Calvary Cemetery, Lower Merion, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
