Jessie Ella Harvey went home to be with Jesus on August 22, 2026 at Merry Heart Assisted Living, where she lived since 2019. A resident of Parsippany since 1958, Jessie was born on September 2nd,1926 in Fairplay, Kentucky to Vina Reece Harvey and Holland Haskin Harvey. She was one of nine (one went to heaven young), with four brothers and three sisters, who she has now joined in heaven. After growing up in Kentucky, she married Felice Scardigno and moved to New Jersey, where she raised a family.

She is survived by her daughter, Gloria, husband, Mike, her son, Stephen, wife, Laraine, granddaughter, Rachel, husband, Matthew and three great-grandchildren, Jeremiah, Liesel and Kaleb. Her husband passed in 1970 and her first grandson, Joseph passed in 2010.
