Jeanne B. Drury

Jeanne B. Drury, aka JD, 65 of Rowlett, Tx passed away Sunday April 20, 2025 at the

Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Plano, Texas due to a complication while battling breast

cancer. She passed peacefully to go party with her family members in Heaven.

Jeanne was born on February 13, 1960 in East Stroudsburg, PA to the late Paul R.

Drury Sr and Marian L. (Johnson) Drury. She was a graduate of Pocono Mountain High

School Class of 1978. She enlisted into the US Airforce after high school, in which she

retired on March 28, 1988 with an Honorable Discharge.

Jeanne worked various jobs in her lifetime and made lifelong friends with whom she

always stayed in touch with. Her favorite thing to do was to just be with all of her fur

babies.

Jeanne is survived by her partner, Rosie Rincon, of 25 years and her fur babies Quinn &

Maggie. Her siblings, June Hallett and finance Skip of Reeders, Paul Drury Jr of

Colorado, Barbara Drury of Stroudsburg, Jere Drury and wife Lisa of Reeders. Her

favorite cousin, Bonnie Johnson Maurer of Reeders, Her favorite niece, Rachele Gaun

and husband Damon of Reeders, Her favorite nephew, Cliff Oppelt and wife Michelle of

Reeders. Nephews, Jason Carrington and wife Amy of Florida, Jesse Drury and

girlfriend Jennifer of South Dakota, Chad Drury and wife Jenny of Oklahoma, Nicholas

Setzer of Australia, and niece Tamara Setzer. Great nephew, Ethan Gaun. Great nieces

Cassandra and Madison Oppelt and Addison Drury.

Jeanne was preceded in death by her sister, Bonnie Drury Derrick, Brothers in Laws,

Jim Hallett & Mike Derrick and Nephews, Rodney Hallett and Shane Drury.

A private memorial service will be held at the family’s discretion. In lieu of flowers,

donations can be made in Jeanne’s name to any local animal shelter.

The All Texas Crematory has been entrusted with Jeanne’s cremation.
