Our Jason E. Repsher was born on August 4, 1958 in Hackensack, N.J. to Rebecca J. Elwine Repsher and Howard Repsher, Sr.
When in his teens he moved with his mother to Phoenix, Az. While there he became interested in sound production and travelled with his church choir.
Sound and lighting production as well as photography were interests that continued throughout his lifetime.
In his late teens he moved with his mother to East Stroudsburg. He was an active member of the AV club and photography club. He was part of the tech crew for many plays and performances. In 1977 he graduated from East Stroudsburg High School.
Jason worked a variety of jobs from KFC to McDonalds to hunting rattlesnakes. He worked a number of years at McGraw Edison in various positions.
On June 2, 1979 Jason went on a blind date. At the end of the date he want home and told his mother he had met his bride-to-be. Darlene, the subject of the date was not convinced. It took 6 weeks until the second date. They were married on January 3, 1981. They were married 45 years.
For many years Darlene and Jason provided sound, lighting and D.J. services to a great number of various Pocono venues.
On November 2, 1988 Kellcey Grace arrived totally changing his world. He was so in LOVE with his little girl, his Boo Boo.
Jason, Darlene and Kellcey travelled many miles in providing tech services with Youth For Christ for difference conferences.
He greatly enjoyed being a father to his Boo Boo. The had many adventures together. So much love. They enjoyed going on photo hunts together.
Jason was a man who enjoyed working. The family took a number of “working” vacations. This meant they provided technical support away from home. Hence a vacation.
So many skills he had. He enjoyed a challenge. Cyphers Truck Parts was a place where all of those abilities were put to use.
On November 28, 2020 he started a new job. He became a father-in-law when Kellcey married Brandon Mull. He enjoyed giving his Boo Boo her wedding dreams.
Attending church and bible studies was always important parts of his life. After having his right leg amputated a few years ago he leaned even more into his faith. He had a list of people who he prayed for daily. His faith in God and love for his family sustained him to the end.
