Janet D. Klingel

Picture Janet D. Klingel, 85, of Stroudsburg passed away surrounded by her family on Friday April 6, at Saint Luke’s Hospital, Bartonsville. She was the wife of the late Edward R. Klingel who died in 2004. Born November 19, 1932 in East Stroudsburg, the daughter of the late George E. Terboss and Mildred Elizabeth (Bush) Terboss Setzer. She was a lifetime resident of Monroe County. Janet was a member of the CLU Club and The American Legion Prior to her retirement, she worked s a Press Operator at the former Banner Metal in Stroudsburg, for more than 40 years. Janet is survived by her children Diane E. Hanson and her fiance Jim Harrison of East Stroudsburg, Edward E. Klingel and his wife Denise G. of Cresco, and Sherri Lea Lyon and her husband Steve of East Stroudsburg. Her grandchildren Christopher R Hanson and his wife Jessica, Joshua E. Hanson and his wife Ryan, Jessica Marie Watts and her husband Thomas, Lindzee Lyon and her companion Kyle Possinger, Stephen Lyon and Kassidy Lyon.; her great grandchildren Christopher, Ryan, Jason, Emma, Laura, Julia, Carley, Brantley and Cole. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday April 11, 2018 at 1:00pm at the Bensing Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg with Pastor Dororthy Stem officiating.. Entombment will follow in the Mountainview Mausoleum in the Prospect Cemetery, East Stroudsburg. There will be a viewing on Wednesday from 11:00am until the time of the services at the funeral home.
