James J. Kelly Jr.

James J. Kelly Jr. 64, of East Stroudsburg passed away at home on Tuesday June 21, 2016. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey. He was raised in Caldwell, New Jersey son of James and Therese Kelly. He graduated from James Caldwell High School in 1970. He later attended Morris County College in Randolph, New Jersey. He was employed for 35 years at New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Company in Trenton, New Jersey. Married to Maureen Kelly in 1976. They were married 40 years most of which were in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. They raised two boys Kevin and Matthew. James was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his widow, Maureen Kelly, two sons Kevin J. Kelly and Matthew J. Kelly; two grandchildren Cameron J. Kelly and Makayla R. Kelly and their mother Jessica R. Kelly; his mother Therese M Kelly; brothers Christopher D. Kelly and Michael A. Kelly; his sister, Mary E. Kelly; three nieces and many friends.\ There will be a Funeral Mass at 10:00am on Saturday, June 25, 2015, at St. Matthews Church, 200 Brodhead Avenue, East Stroudsburg. Visitation will be held at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg on Friday June 24, 2016 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
