James “Happy” Farnan, 69, of Stroudsburg, passed away Peacefully on Tuesday April 16 th , 2024
surrounded by his loving family.
Husband of Marie Farnan, for 39 years, Father of James Farnan IV.
Jim was born in Long Island, New York, on October 18 th 1954, to James Farnan and Teresa Farnan. Jim
was one of a kind. A loving, caring, husband, father and friend. He loved hunting, fishing and watching
the New York Jets play every Sunday. He always had a joke or one liner ready and loved bringing a smile
or laugh to everyone’s face.
A viewing will be held Thursday April 25 at Bensing- Thomas Funeral Home from 12pm-2:30 pm and
5pm-730pm. (401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg, PA)
Friday April 26. Mass will be at Most Holy Trinity Parish 236 PA-Route 390 Cresco PA 18326
There will also be viewing on Long Island, Sunday April 28 from 3:00ppm to 7:00pm at Raynor & D’Andrea Funeral Home 245 Main Street, West Sayville, NY11796
Burial will be at Calverton National Cemetery 210 Princeton Boulevard. Calverton NY 11933 interment services with military honors at 11:00am
