- Surrounded by family, Irene Edith (Preston) Dennis passed away, leaving behind a legacy of
- love, service, and warmth. Born in St. Albans, Vermont, on March 20, 1949, Irene made a
- lasting impact on her community through 20 years at Pocono Elementary Center, her volunteer
- work at the township Bingo Hall, and her dedication as an EMT.
- Irene is survived by her cherished husband of 50 years, Harold Dennis of Tannersville, PA,
- along with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She embraced retirement to the
- fullest, filling her time with traveling, camping, gardening, painting, knitting, bird watching, and
- sunny afternoons floating in her pool. Irene’s generous spirit made her a cherished fixture in the
- lives of her family and friends.
- Memorial services have been arranged at Reeders Methodist Church, Reeders, Pennsylvania,
- on Saturday, September 26, 2027 at 1:00 pm. Additional memorials will occur in mid to late
- October in Vermont, with details to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be
- made in her honor to a charity of your choice.
