- Howard Kennith Peters, 68, of Saylorsburg, passed away on Monday April 20, 2026, at home under hospice care. He was the husband of Sandra K Buskirk.
- Born March 2, 1958, in Stroudsburg, the son of the tale Sherwood and Alice (Miller) Peters. He was a lifetime resident of Monroe County.
- He worked for many years at Keystone Foods in Easton.
- In addition to his wife, Howard is survived by his 2 sons Howard K. Peters Jr of Saylorsburg, Michael Peters and his wife Jessica of Bangor, and Maddison Peters of Saylorsburg.
- He is also survived by his siblings being one of twelve children, Patricia Reaser and her husband John of Kresgeville, Katherine Crowley and her husband Jerome of Kresgeville, Shirley Warner and her husband Tim of Kunkletown, Sharon Rinehardt of Kunkletown, Michael Peters of Sciota, and Terry Petters of Kunkletown, many grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
- He was predeceased by his brothers, Sherwood, Edward and Timothy.
- There will be no funeral services at this time.
- The Bensing Thomas Funeral Home is in charge of his arrangements
- At the request of the family, memorial donations may be made to any Heart or Lung Association
