Harold Robert Marvin Sr.

Harold Robert Marvin Sr, 93, of Sciota and Sebring Florida, passed away on Thursday evening July 15, 2021 at the Somers Hospice House, Sebring, Florida. He was the husband of the late Theresa G. (McNally) Marvin, who died January 29, 2017, they were married for almost 70 years. Born September 22, 1927 in Stroudsburg, the son of the late Ronald and Mary (Setzer) Marvin. He was a resident of Monroe County for most of his lifetime. In his younger years he did lots of camping and boating at Lake Wallenpaupack. Prior to his retirement he owned and operated Harold Marvin Sr Trucking and Truck Sales Harold is survived by his two daughters, Theresa Rentko and husband Doug of Bethlehem and Dee Reiss and husband Rick of Pen Argyl; two sons, Harold Marvin, Jr. of Delray Beach, FL and John Marvin of Sciota; eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Harlod was preceded in death by his sister Blance Possinger and his daughter in law Ellen Marvin There will be a viewng on Saturday July 24, 2021 from 11:00am until 12:30pm at the Bensing Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg, followed by a graveside service at 1:00pm at the Mount Zion Cemetery, Hamilton Township with Pastor Steven Claycomb officiating In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Camp Papillon Animal Shelter, 128 Brainerd Lane, Stroudsburg PA 18360
