Harold Kemmerer

Harold Kemmerer Sr. 64, of East Stroudsburg, passed away on Friday June 10, 2016 at the Pocono Health Systems Hospice House. Born March 30, 1952 in east Stroudsburg, the son of the late Thomas and Violet (Hilliard) Kemmerer. He was a lifetime resident of Monroe County. Harold worked as a landscaper specializing in stonework, but was a jack of all trades. He was a mountain man and loved the outdoors, he was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved to garden, and was a huge fan of NASCAR and Football. He loved women and women loved him. Harold is survived by his daughter, Karen Kemmerer of Pittsburgh, PA, his 4 sons, Micah Kemmerer of East Stroudsburg, Herrick Kramer Kemmerer of New Jersey, Darryn Kemmerer of Palmerton and Harold Kemmerer Jr of Gouldsboro; and several grandchildren. He is also survived by his 6 sisters, Claudette Seager of Scotrun, Divine Stearns of Mountainhome, Shirley Rae of East Stroudsburg, Darlene Deiter of Tannersville, Nancy Duggins of Wilmington NC and Patricia Matlock of East Stroudsburg; his 2 brothers Thomas and James Kemmerer of East Stroudsburg; and many nieces an nephews. He was predeceased by his nephew Joey Muldoon. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday June 14, 2016 at 6:00pm at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg. There will be a viewing on Tuesday from 2:00pm until the time of the services at the funeral home.
