Harold Hendricks Jr., 69, of Stroudsburg, passed away on Friday September 28, 2018. He was the husband of Carmen P. (Ponce) Hendricks, they were married February 26, 1978. Born March 11, 1949 in New York City, the son of the Harold Hendricks Sr. and late Isabel (Delvalle) Hendricks. He was a resident of Monroe County for 20 years and prior to that of Queens, New York. He was a member of the Church of Saint Luke in Stroudsburg and the Hispanic Society while he was living in New York Prior to his retirement he was a New York City Official, being a manager for the New York City Housing Authority for more than 25 years. He was also a teacher for Wayout Homes for Addicts in the Bronx, New York. In addition to his wife, Harold is survived by his daughter Anamaria Hendricks; his son Kris M. Hendricks both of Stroudsburg ; his sisters Karen Munoz and her husband Jose of Virginia and Milagros Rivera and her husband Juillermo of Florida. There will be a visitation on Sunday October 7, 2018 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm with a memorial service at 3:00pm at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 north 5th Street, Stroudsburg with Pastor Margie Good officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
