Grace Scott

The earthly journey of Grace Marjorie Scott(Mora Martinez) came to an end on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, as she passes away at the age of 74. Her notable acts of kindness will be sorely missed in the many lives she touched. Grace was born in Almirante, Bocas del Toro- Panama to Virginia Martinez and Raphael Mora on August 31, 1947. Grace attended boarding school in Conception, Chiriquí Province of Panama as a teenager. She returned to Panama City after she completed high school and later emigrated to the United States in the late sixties. She worked in healthcare for over 30 years caring for many patients during her time there. She was very devoted to her church community and family. Grace is survived by her children, Carl F. Scott jr., Katrina Scott Wilks, John Scott and Samuel Scott; seven grand-children, Amaiya Wilks, Samantha Wilks, Leah Scott, Caleb Scott, Norah Scott, Aaron Scott and Mila Scott; five siblings, Marva Martinez, Lilia Mora, Flora Brands, Esther Pilato, and Ruth Shoenfeld. Funeral Services will be held on Monday August 29, 2022 at 12:00noon at the Bensing Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg.
