It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Gloria Pascual of E. Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, age 73.. Surrounded by family, Heaven's newest angel peacefully made her transition on April 2, 2023, while at Lehigh Medical Center. Originally from Brooklyn, Gloria relocated to New Jersey where she called Newark her home. This is where she and her husband Jose raised their three children and welcomed several grandchildren. She worked as a Health Care Provider with Amserv Health Care from 1995 until 1999. Being a stay-at-home mom, however, was what brought her the most joy, as she nurtured and watched her children grow and start families of their own. Gloria's talents were many but she especially excelled in the kitchen, a haven for her children, family, and the many guests that frequented it. Her gift for the craft was passed on to her children and several of her grandchildren, Her skills as a seamstress came in very handy as she created fashion statements on her sewing machine and adorned her windows with beautifully sewn curtains. Her creativity was just as appreciated in the area of home decorating. She could transform a room's appearance with minimal effort. often delighting in doing so. Gloria was an avid reader, especially when it came to the Scriptures and daily devotionals. This too was another trait that she passed down to her son, and family. Her faith sustained her during those trying moments when undergoing treatment, and in those final days before passing. Gloria is predeceased by her late husband Jose Perez, her mother-in-law Irene and her father Israel Ortiz. She will be terribly missed by her 100 year old mother, Maria Ortiz; sisters Rosie Rivera (Abraham), Maria Ortiz, and brother Israel Ortiz. Daughter Tawana Pascual, sons David Pascual and Jose Perez (Tahira), sisters-in-law Rosa Fatzler and Gloria Perez. The void will be greatly felt by her grandchildren David Jr., Stefany, Justin, Jose Perez III, Joshua, Destiny, Jaylin, Jonathan, and Taylor. She was also blessed with great grandchildren Jacelyn, Dominic, Dimitri and Julian. She was a caring aunt to nieces Sandra, Arlene, Millie, Angelina, and nephews Evan, Jose, Darnell and Tito. She leaves behind countless other family and friends. Rest in Peace Gloria. You have truly earned your wings
