Glendora Decker, 92. of East Stroudsburg passed away on Friday September 17, 2021 at the Slate Belt Nursing Home. Born March 7, 1929 in Henryville, the daughter of the late Clinton and Amy (Smith) Saxe. She was a lifetime resident of Monroe County, and was of the Methodist Faith. She was a lifetime member of the CLU Club, and also s member of the Moose Lodge and American Legion. Glendora was known for her quick wit and personality. She spent her earlier years waitressing and bartending at local establishments. She loved to sing and there were many a time she would serenade you with her favorite song. In her later years she became an avid Bingo player, never passing up the chance to play even though she said she never won. Glendora is survived by her children, Debbie K. Avesano of Roseto, Ronald D. Decker and his wife Donna of East Stroudsburg and Rodney C. Decker of Arizona. Her grandchildren, Heather, Ronald Jr., Vanessa, Karissa, Ian, Seth, Karl and Brandi; 12 Great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Pamela Hoppe and her brother Clinton Saxe Jr. As per her request there will be no services at this time. The Bensing Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg is in charge of the arrangements. At the request of the family, memorial donations may be made in Glendora’s name to the East Stroudsburg Salvation Army's Soup Kitchen, 226 Washington Street, East Stroudsburg PA 18301
