Gerald loved the holidays especially Christmas! People would pass by and admire the Christmas Village display, he’d so beautifully put together in the widows.
He loved festivities like the Saint Patrick’s Day Parade, and he’d dress the part perfectly for any occasion!
He loved to dance & sing and have fun! He was also known to many as “Papa Jerry” or “Papa Fonz”. He was a good friend to many and always tried to help whomever he could.
Gerald was a hard worker all of his life. Earlier in his years he attended Midway Beauty School for cosmetology and enjoyed doing hair. He worked as a doorman on Central Park South and got to meet many famous people including Rose Kennedy! Gerald also worked in the garment factory and was an excellent presser.
A Celebration of Life was held on August 31st at the Stroudsburg Wesleyan Church.
Gerald will be forever loved and missed by all of us 💙🙏🏻💙
