George H. Strunk Jr.'s Obituary
- George H Strunk Jr. passed away quietly at the Stroudsburg Post Acute Center on
- Thursday September 3, 2026, under the care of St Luke’s Hospice.
- George was the son of the late George H Strunk Sr and Evelyn E Strunk.
- He lived in Monroe County for most of his life with his last residence being
- Westgate Apartments located on West Main Street Stroudsburg Pa. He worked
- several jobs throughout his life but the job he loved most was at Birchwood Resort.
- He is survived by his brother Glenn and his wife Lee. He is also survived by Aunt
- Beverly (Strunk) Angle of Concho AZ. George is also survived by several
- nephews, nieces, and cousins. We would like to acknowledge his good friend Mary
- Klinkel.
- George was predeceased by brothers Edward Strunk and Keith A Strunk Sr.
- George always lived his life unapologetically and on his terms. He had a
- tremendous knowledge of all makes models and the years of all vehicles.
- George touched many lives in so many ways throughout his life.
- George also wanted all to know his favorite song was “Spirit In the Sky” and to
- play this song while thinking about him.
- He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
