George F. Cook Iii

George F. Cook III 6/4/47-3/27/22 George, 74, of East Stroudsburg passed away suddenly at home. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara Cook, whom he shared 49 years of marriage. Born in Paterson, NJ he was raised in Lincoln Park, NJ and eventually settled in Wayne, NJ to raise his family. He was retired from Wayne Township Municipal Building. He is survived by 3 children and 4 grandchildren. Daughter Cheri Matusevich of Fairlawn, NJ and granddaughters Candice and Gina Matusevich, daughter Tracy Depue (husband Eli) of East Stroudsburg, Pa, son Shawn Cook (wife Danielle) and grandsons Benjamin and Logan Cook of East Stroudsburg, Pa. A private memorial will be held and the family asks in lieu of flowers donations to be given to local animal shelter of your choice.
