Garrett L. Turner, 38, passed away unexpectedly on July 20, 2025. A talented carpenter with a sharp eye for detail and a relentless commitment to getting the job done right, Garrett took great pride in his work. He was the kind of person who didn’t cut corners, whether it was updating bathrooms, flooring, or fixing something up for a friend. He took pride in a job well done.Born on August 16, 1986, to Lorrance Turner and Tami (Potter) Turner, Garrett grew up learning the value of hard work and resilience. He carried those lessons into everything he did. He wasn’t one for small talk, but he was solid—the guy you wanted on your crew and in your corner.Garrett was a father first. His son, Aiden, was the center of his world and the joy of his life! Whether they were working with tools, spending time outside, or just hanging out playing video games, Garrett’s love and pride in his boy was always evident. He wanted to pass on everything he knew—especially the skills of his trade—and he showed up in the ways that mattered. Garrett and Aprill Neumann co-parented Aiden.He is survived by his son Aiden Turner; his parents Larry and Tami; his brother Nicholas; sisters Marissa, Julianna, and Eliza; Aunts, Uncles; and many cousins and friends.Garrett left us too soon, but the work he did, the people he loved, and the memories he built will stand strong for years to come.There will be a memorial service at Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home in Stroudsburg on Sunday, July 27, 2025. Visitation 12 noon to 2 pm with a short service at 2pm..In lieu of flowers, Aiden would like donations to be made to AWSOM due to his father's love of cats.
