Gail R. Stine

Gail Stine, 75, of Stroudsburg, passed away on Thursday June 8, 2017 at the Celtic Hospice, Wilkes-Barre. She was the wife of the late Robert N. Stine Sr., who died May 25, 2006. Born July 20, 1941 in Darby, the daughter of the late Delbert and Alexandra (Drougge) France. She was a resident of Monroe County for most of her lifetime. Gail attended the First Baptist Church of East Stroudsburg and Volunteered for Monroe County Meals on Wheels. Prior to her retirement, she worked at the Bon Ton Department Store Gail is survived by her 3 sons, Kevin Stine and his wife Alyce of Robbinsville, NJ; Robert N. Stine Jr. and his wife Carmella of Hilton Head, South Carolina: Heath Stine and his wife Sonya of East Stroudsburg; 2 daughters Darlene Stine of Stroudsburg: Delphine Refsnider and her husband Frank of East Stroudsburg; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Denise DeVivo and her husband John of Stroudsburg, and several nieces and nephews. Gail was predeceased by her Brother Donald France and her sister Susan Vinyard. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday June 13, 2017 at 11:00am at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg with Pastor David Cornell officiating. There will be calling hours from 9:00am until the time of the services on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Prospect Cemetery, East Stroudsburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either Monroe County Meals on Wheels, 9 North 9th Street, Stroudsburg PA 18360, or to Celtic Hospice at Geisinger South 25 Church Street, Wilkes-Barre PA 18765
