Frederick Henry Lee

Frederick Henry Lee (Butch) 80 of East Stroudsburg, Pa Passed away August 15, 2024, at Lehigh Valley-Pocono Hospital. He was born October 3, 1943. The son of Richard L. and Bessie (Counterman) Smith. Fred served in the National Guard Private 1st Class Co. C 1st Battalion Mech 109 Infantry November 24, 1964, to November 24,1971. He worked at Bufab Mills in Stroudsburg, Pa. and Amsterdam, New York. Until retiring to open Fred Lee's Upholstery in Tannersville, Pa. Fred is survived by his children daughters Deborah Lee of Bartonsville, Pa. Nikki Carrier and husband Landis of Brodheadsville, Pa. .Angel Lee of Punta Gorda, Fl., and sons Kelly Lee of East Stroudsburg, Pa. Elijah Sherman of Houston, Tx.. Eight grandchildren and nine Great Grandchildren. Two sisters Wilma Rinker of East Stroudsburg, Pa. and Kathrine (Kate) Ferrante and husband John of Haines City, Fl. Many nieces and nephews. Fred was preceded in death by his parents Richard L. and Bessie (Counterman) Smith, two brothers Roy E. Lee and Arthur Lee. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
