Frances Pogorzelski

Frances M. Pogorzelski, 90, of Fairfield, NJ passed away peacefully at her daughter Diane's home in East Stroudsburg, PA on Saturday evening April 9, 2022. Frances was predeceased by her late husband Richard M. Pogorzelski of 69 years. Frances was born February 5, 1932 in Boonton, NJ, the daughter of the late Joseph and Carrie (Crutts) Carey. She was a home maker who enjoyed playing bingo, cards and playing slot machines with everyone. Loving mother of five daughter's: Carolyn Harrison, her husband Ronald of Tobyhanna, PA., Theresa Larderi, her companion Sal Wohl of Morris Plains, NJ., Diane Saponara, her companion Tim Joost of East Stroudsburg, PA., Loretta Ubertaccio, her husband Glenn of Budd Lake, NJ., Lisa Boudreau, her husband John of Morris Plains, NJ and many nieces and nephews, as well as, grandchildren and great grandchildren extended family and friends who loved her dearly. She is also survived by her sister's Carol Chapman and Jean Hancock both of Florida. There will be a viewing on Friday, April 15th from 2-5pm with a funeral service at 4:30pn with Pastor Margie Good officiating at the Bensing Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg, PA. Burial will be on Saturday, April 16th at 11am, at the Gates of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, A donation may be made in Frans name to: Saint Jude's Childrens' Hospital.
