Felicia Estelle Vandervliet
April 10, 1931 — April 15, 2024
Felicia Estelle VanDerVliet, 93, of Bushkill, passed away on Monday April 15, 2024, at the St. Lukes Hospice House, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Edward VanDerVliet Jr, who passed away February 4, 2006.
Born April 10, 1931, in Bayonne, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Dominick and Edith (Alberti) Mazacola. She was a resident of Pike County since 2012 and prior to that of Homosassa, and Myakka City, FL. She worked as a Nursing Assistant, loved to travel and her animals. Although sometimes persnickety, she knew what she wanted and wasn't afraid to tell anyone who would listen.
Felicia is survived by her children, Karen and her husband Butch Amadore of Belvidere, New Jersey, Patti and her husband Glen Semanisin of Fernando Beach, Florida and Kenneth VanDerVliet and his wife Susan of Bushkill, Pennsylvania. She was predeceased by her sons, Timothy VanDerVliet and Edward VanDerVliet III (J.R.).
She was loved and cherished by her grandchildren Felicia, Ellie, Eric, Paul, Rick and Mandy, along with many great grands, Lexie, Morgan, Ricky, Robby, Layla, Olivia, Devin, Luke and Paul Jr (P.J.), who lovingly referred to her as their "GG".
As she wished, there will be no services but a Celebration of Life at a later date. The Bensing Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg is in charge of the arrangements.
