Evelyn M. Miller

Evelyn M. Miller. 86, of Stroudsburg, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2016 at the Pocono Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Chester Miller. Born December 14, 1929 in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania the daughter of the late Frank and Elsie (Shuppe) Counterman. Evelyn is survived by her children, Larry Miller of East Stroudsburg, Terry Miller and his wife Gladys of Glendale, Arizona and Brenda Miller of East Stroudsburg, her son Ronald Miller who passed away on Feb. 8, 2016. Her grandchildren, Kaitlen Miller of East Stroudsburg, Vicky L. Miller and her husband Stephen Strunk of Stroudsburg, Jason C. Miller and his wife Tanya of East Stroudsburg, Kimberly Butsch and her husband Dennis of Mechanicsburg. Several nieces and nephews and 8 great-grandchildren. Memorial funeral services will be held on Tuesday May 24, 2016 at 11:00am at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg with Rev. Jim Todd officiating. There will be a visitation on Tuesday from 10:00am until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment of Evelyn will be in Prospect Cemetery, East Stroudsburg at the convenience of her family at a later date.
