Picture Evelyn C. Taylor, 97, earned her angel wings on Sunday November 5th 2017. She passed away at Spring Village at Pocono in East Stroudsburg. She was the wife of Frank “Bud” Taylor who preceded her in death on February 9, 1991, they had been married 52 years at that time. Born in East Stroudsburg on March 8, 1920 she was the daughter of the late Harry Treible and Carrie (Bisbing) Treible. Evelyn was a life long resident of Monroe County having graduated from East Stroudsburg High School in 1938. She was a member of the East Stroudsburg United Methodist Church. Evelyn was also a member of the Dorothy Lim Memorial Court #110 of Stroudsburg. Evelyn was employed as a waitress fro may years at the Colonial Diner in Stroudsburg. Evelyn loved her flower gardens, she had a very green thumb, you could always find her in her yard making it look beautiful. She also liked to crochet and most of all she loved doing things with her family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her. She will be remembered for always wanting to help anyone whenever needed. She is survived by her daughter Brenda Ensley of East Stroudsburg, 4 grandchildren, Chris Ensley and his wife Kelly, Richard Cramer Jr. and his wife Vickie of Boliva, N.C., Doug Cramer and his wife Linda of Kunkletown and Cheryl Cramer. great grandchildren, Nicole Adams, Ryan Cramer, , Anthony Cramer, Nicholas Ensley, Corbin Ensley, Bryanna Ensley, Jarred Ensley, Dean Ensley Jr., Jason Rundle, Dakota Farry, and Travis Tilwick and 2 great great grandchildren, Taylor and Max Adams and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded n death by her daughter Gale Cramer and her granddaughter, Bonnie Cramer and grandson Dean Ensley Sr., her brother Mitchel Treible, and her loving companion of 17 years Russell Imbt. There will be a visitation starting at 10:00am with memorial funeral services at 11:00am on Saturday November 18th at the East Stroudsburg United Methodist Church, 83 South Courtland Street, East Stroudsburg with Pastor James Todd officiating. Followed by burial in the Prospect Cemetery, East Stroudsburg next to her beloved husband. I would like to personally thank all the Staff at Spring Village at Pocono and Ascend Hospice for the wonderful care they gave to my Mother throughout her time there.
