Ethel M. Hoover, 80, of East Stroudsburg, passed away on Friday November 17, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Donald M. Hoover. Born January 5, 1937 in East Stroudsburg, the daughter of the late Earl Sr. and Catherine (Hopkins) Palmer. She was a lifetime resident of Monroe County. She was a former member of the Moose Lodge. Ethel is survived by her daughters, Christina Hackett and her husband Edwin, Judith Palmer and her husband James, and Melody Slovonic and her husband Patrick. Her grandchildren Ramon Molina, Tara (Pete) Molina, Kari (Chris)Molina , Melissa (Anthony)House, Ashley Hackett, Katelyn (Michael) Pannone, Kori Hackett, Patrick Slovonic, Jon (Kim)Palmer, and many great grandchildren. Her siblings Gertrude Palmisano, Earl Palmer Jr., Roberta Singer and Kathy Spiese. Memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date. There will be no viewing. Burial of her cremated remains will be at a later in the Stroudsburg Cemetery.
