Edwin Lawrence Seese

Edwin L. Seese 74, of Canadensis passed away on Tuesday June 6, 2017 at Lehigh Valley Pocono Hospice House. He was born in Canadensis on November 18, 1942 the son of Claude and Martha (Asquith) Seese. Ed was a lifetime resident of Monroe County. Ed was an operating engineer and worked for F&F Paving and Excavating and Besecker’s Paving. He is survived by his two sons Jason E. Seese and wife Nichole of Reeders and Shawn C. Malone and wife Deidre of Stroudsburg; two grandsons Benjamin Malone and Jayden Rush; sister Kathryn Scherer; brother Charles A. Seese as well as many nieces and nephews. Ed was predeceased by his brother Richard Seese and sisters Joyce Van Buskirk and Louise Granahan. A viewing will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg. Funeral service will be held Monday June12, 2017 at 1:00pm at Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home with burial and Military honors at McComas Chapel in Price Township. In lieu of flowers donations to the Disabled American Veterans in care of American Legion Post #367, Allentown, PA 18014 would be appreciated.
