Douglas H Shipps

Douglas H. Shipps Sr., 55, of Bangor passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2016. He was the husband of Karen (Rader) Shipps. Born on January 19, 1961 in Blairstown, New Jersey he was the son of the late Michael Shipps and Shirley (Shipps) Neal. After moving from New Jersey he was a resident of Lehigh Valley for over 30 years. In addition to his wife Douglas is survived by his children Cassie and Douglas Jr. and his grandchildren Elijah and Imani Cloud and his mother Shirley Neal. Douglas was predeceased by his father Michael Shipps and his brother Russel Shipps. Services will be private at Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg and cremation will take place at H.G. Smith Crematory in Stroudsburg. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family in care of Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home 401 North 5th Street Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
