Donna L. Palmer
July 22, 1946 - June 21, 2025
Donna Lee Palmer passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family, at the age of 78. Donna was born July 22nd, 1946, in East Stroudsburg, PA. Daughter of Elmer W. Goucher and Milred B. (Getz) Goucher.
Donna and James A. Palmer Sr married in 1962, and shortly after welcomed their beloved and only son James A. Palmer Jr. They resided in Bangor, Pa for over 60 years. Donna and Jim Sr. were members of the Hi-Winders Car Club. They enjoyed old car shows, 50's music and Sunday drives in their many antique cars. Donna worked at Foot Lights in Bangor for many years. Also, worked and retired from Iridium Industries and Silgan plastics.
Donna was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and Great grandmother (GG). Donna is survived by her dearest sister and brother-in-law Cindy and Brian Foley, of East Stroudsburg; Sister- in-law, Helen A. Hillard and husband Gary of Mt. Bethel, PA. Her adored son James A. Palmer Jr and wife Judy Palmer of Woodale, East Stroudsburg. Her treasured grandson Jon James Palmer and wife Kimberly Palmer, their two beautiful daughters Finley (7,) Lucy (3,) and newly arrived Dean A. Palmer (6/2025) who now reside in Bangor PA; Ramon Molina and son Lincoln Molina of East Stroudsburg; Tara Molina and Peter Joseph, son Maddox J. Joseph of Stroudsburg; Kari Molina and lovely daughter Malina Rae Davis.
Donna was very generous and kept strong family traditions alive. She played an active role in her grandchildren's lives. Family gatherings and holidays were overly rich with love and warmth. For those who knew her were overcome by her kindness. In her last years she continued to have luncheons with her cousins, school mates and friends. Donna will always be remembered and missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.
There will be no funeral Services, Donna wished for a Private Celebration of life with close friends and immediate family.
