Dolores Berg

Dolores Berg, 93, passed peacefully on 12/9/2022. She was born in Brooklyn and moved to Hicksville Long Island after she started her family in the 1950s. She is predeceased by her husband George and her son Michael and daughter Deborah. She is survived by her son Stephen Berg his husband Butch West of Freeport, NY, her son Richard Berg of Roseville CA, her daughter Karen Esposito and her husband Rick of Stroudsburg, PA. Her pride and joy along with her children are her grandchildren, Dayna Safonte and her partner James Kramer of Lake Ronkonkoma, NY Michael Safonte of Hicksville, NY and Kristin Corcoran and her fiancé Devin Dehart and his daughter Molly of East Stroudsburg, PA. A special place in her heart was reserved for her first great grandson, Perry, who brought her great joy in her last year.

Dolores’s greatest joy was keeping a perfect home along with cooking and baking delicious meals for the holidays and celebrations. She was also an avid world traveler and had visited the National Parks as well as cruising the Mediterranean. Her passion was swimming and spent many days at the ocean beaches on Long Island with her trademark floral bathing caps 😉. She lived life to the fullest and enjoyed many wonderful times with her family and friends. She will be remembered with love and most of all laughter.
