Dennis Michael Brennan Profile Photo

Dennis Michael Brennan, 63, of East Stroudsburg, passed away on Sunday March 6, 2022 surrounded by his family at the Lehigh Valley Hospital Pocono. Born May 3, 1958 in Newark, New Jersey, the son of the late Stanley C. Brennan and Kay F. (Morgan). He was a Christian. He was a resident at the Gardens at Stroud, where he was truly loved and cared for. Dennis is survived by his sister Linda Kay Cherubini and her husband Gino; his brother Steven W. Brennan; his nephew Nicholas G. Cherubini; niece Mandee Lynn, and his great niece Talia Brennan. He is also preceded in death by his brothers David K. Brennan, Alan S. Brennan, and James D. Brennan, in addition to his Nephew James M. Brennan. Dennis’s lighthearted nature and bigger than life personality has left a hole in the hearts of his loved ones that can never be filled. His life was an inspiration to many in spite of living with the debilitating effects of severe spina bifida. He is a hero to his family, not only because he rarely complained, but because he faced one challenge after another with the courage and the strength of a warrior. Regardless of his suffering, he fought hard to the very end for this life that so many of us take for granted. Dennis was an avid reader, history buff, and trivia whiz. Dennis also loved animals, particularly dogs, playing games, poker, and spending time with family. was a lifelong sports fanatic, so he would be really pissed off if we didn’t mention that he was a diehard New York Giant and Yankees fan. Until we meet again, rest easy my brother, you’ll always be loved, never forgotten, and forever missed. There will be a visitation on Thursday March 10 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm with a memorial service at 7:00pm at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg.
