Della J. Schouppe, 78, of East Stroudsburg passed away peacefully with her niece Alice F. Eurich by her bedside while under the loving care of the staff at The Gardens at Stroud.
Born in East Stroudsburg on June 18, 1944
She was the daughter of Charles and Dorothy (Gower) Schouppe.
Della lived her whole life in the Poconos where she attended East Stroudsburg High School.
Della worked at Redmond Metal Finishing Co., that was in East Stroudsburg.
Della was a loyal rider of the Pocono Pony and the Shared Ride buses. Also she loved shopping at Walmart.
She is survived by her sisters Robin Wall of Hopatcong, NJ. and Margaret Shafer of East Stroudsburg.
In addition to her parents Della predeceased by her brothers George, Charles and Jake Schouppe and Howard Van Why and her sisters Malvine Stokes (Schouppe), Blanche and April Schouppe. So many nieces and nephews.
No viewing and private cremation is entrusted to Bensing-Thomas Funeral, 5th St. Stroudsburg, Pa.
Burial will be private in the Sandhill Cemetery, Shoemakers.
