Debra Lee Safin

Debra Lee Safin, passed away in the comfort of her own home on June 24, 2019 in East Stroudsburg. She was the daughter of the late Vera Elizabeth Storm 1938 -2017 and the late Albert Geroge Safin Sr. 1933 -1989. She is survived by her step dad, Wilmer “Bud” Heckman. Her partner Shawn G Crawford; her sister Ruth Ann Scerbo and brothers Albert and Earl Safin; her children Matthew Piacente and Kevin Stacy and her beloved grandchildren, Nicholas and Callianne Piacente and CeeJay and Mason Stacy. “Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him: Thessalonians 4:13-14 Debbie was a shining light that brought an overflowing joy into the lives of many people during her time here on earth. Her love, inspiration, beautiful smile and absolute selflessness will never be forgotten. She will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever. Viewing will be held on Sunday June 30 at 10:00am to 1:00pm at the Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg.
