David Menist, 72, of East Stroudsburg, passed away on Friday October 4, 2024, at the Lehigh Valley Hospital – Pocono. He was the husband of Janis Marie (Negra) Menist, they were married July 11,1982.
Born January 30, 1952, in Jersey City, New Jersey, the son of the late Cornelius and Concetta (Zago) Menist. He was of the Catholic Faith
He worked as a Teamster Dockman.
In addition to his wife, David is survived by his 3 sons, Matthew Menist, Jason Menist and David Menist; his grandson Kaleb Menist; his sister Frances (Menist) DeSantis.
He was predeceased by his parents Cornelius and Concetta (Zago) Menist; and his 2 brothers, Carmen and James Menist
Catholic Prayer services will be held on Tuesday October 8, 2024, at 8:00pm at the Bensing Thomas Funeral Home, 401 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg with Father Michael F. Quinnan officiating. Cremation will follow
There will be viewings on Tuesday October 8, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm and from 6:00pm until the time of the service at 8:00pm.
