David Henry Kammer

David H. Kammer age 78 of East Stroudsburg passed away on April 14, 2021 with his wife Lorraine and daughter Desaree by his bedside at the Lehigh Valley Pocono Hospice House in East Stroudsburg. David was the loving husband of Lorraine Kammer. They celebrated their 18 th wedding anniversary in August 2020 they have been together for 29 years. He was born in East Stroudsburg to the late Henry Kammer and Dorthea Kammer both of East Stroudsburg. David served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1960 to 1964. David worked for many companies in his early years. David will be greatly missed by his wife Lorraine, his daughter Desaree Steele and her husband William, daughter Bette Kammer Bard and her husband Stephen, 3 step children Carla Edinger, Chris Edinger and Becky Counterman and her husband Wally, 10 grandchildren Nicholas Beaver, Tonya Styka, Wade Robson and his wife Desiray, Courtney Keiper, Dakota Counterman, Carole Witham, Josh Andrews, Christian Walsh, Sara Hineline and her husband Jeff and Billy Steele, 7 great-grandchildren Jackson Steele, Noah and Hayven Robson, Eliana Trigili, Brandon and Annabelle Witham and Jayden Andrews. David is also survived by his sister Lois Pugh, a niece and 3 nephews and a host of cousins. David was predeceased by his Father and Mother, his sister Barbara Kammer, his only son Jayson (Kammer) Beaver, nephew Troy Verwey and a great-grandaughter Denna-Joy Sue Hineline. David will be deeply missed by all that new him. Per David’s request there will be no services. Just remember all the good times you spent with him. Cremation will be private with Bensing-Thomas Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers David requested that donations be made to Lehigh Valley Pocono Hospice House 412 East Brown St., East Stroudsburg, PA 18301.
